AECB's advanced retrofit training course takes on a new and improved format for 2018 and is more flexible and practical for the busy students and professionals it is designed for. The course offers 35 credit points towards the Certified Passivhaus Designer qualification renewal process.

A 2-day course tailored to all contractors and builders who are involved in any level of low-energy building construction, including optional revision & exam sessions for those wanting to become qualified as a Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson.

Delivered by the University of Strathclyde Energy Systems Research Unit, the BRE Centre of Excellence in Energy Utilisation in partnership with the BRE Academy, this qualification will provide you with all the skills necessary to successfully design and deliver buildings to the Passivhaus Standard.

AECB CarbonLite courses offer the chance to gain the internationally recognised Certified European Passivhaus Designer qualification, on a course uniquely tailored to the UK and showcasing UK building examples. This course also features a number of site visits to exciting Passivhaus projects, with the opportunity to meet the occupants and designers.
