Membership of the Passivhaus Trust is open to anyone and does not necessarily imply achievement of the Passivhaus standard for buildings or components, or attainment of Passivhaus-related qualifications. Members of the Passivhaus Trust listed include architects, consultants, contractors, manufacturers and other industry professionals, as well as individuals, who support the work of the Trust in promoting the Standard in the UK.

Mark Siddall is principal at LEAP: Low Energy Architectural Practice, is a practicing architect that has a keen interest building performance. Issues of usability and practicality inform his approach and have increasingly led to an appreciation of the need for an integrated, consensus based, design process. He was project architect, and Passivhaus Designer, for 25 award winning, Passivhaus Certified dwellings at the Racecourse Estate, Houghton-le-Spring. He was also project architect on a number of award winning Retrofit for the Future projects that targeted an 80% reduction in carbon emissions. In addition to offering architectural services Mark provides consultancy, energy analysis, project enabling and training for clients, design teams and constructors. Mark has published papers internationally on subjects including; the influence of design and construction defects upon building performance, the quality assurance of building design and construction, whole systems design, environmental management systems, and the impact of glazing systems upon comfort and energy demand. He is a technical advisor to the PassivHaus Trust and a part time Senior Lecturer in Construction at Northumbria University.

LEDA was formed in 1997 as a multidisciplinary partnership of design engineers and architects committed to creating sustainable, environmentally friendly buildings. We use our construction experience to make your plans practical and usable. As a firm driven to create buildings with low energy performance that are also healthy and comfortable, we are proud that LEDA can now offer a fully-coordinated building design including static and dynamic thermal modelling, designPH, Passive House Planning Package and Therm modelling. We recently augmented our Passive House capabilities, welcoming Richard Spencer, engineer and sustainability specialist, to the team. Richard completed the AECB Carbonlite Retrofit course in 2016 and became a Certified Passive House Consultant in 2017. Richard will be working with James Clifford, our Architectural & Environmental Design Assistant, and the LEDA team to further support architects and clients with the designs for Passive House and near passive house buildings, including renewables, heat supply and distribution systems, water and electrical services, lighting, and communications.

Martin Ingham is an independent consultant specialising in energy efficiency in the built environment. He is a Certified Passivhaus Designer and has a background as a Chartered Civil Engineer and Business Consultant. He has an MBA in Strategic Carbon Management from the University of East Anglia, and has increasingly focused on Passivhaus as being a proven means to deliver low energy buildings. Martin advises clients on their projects from concept through to post-occupancy evaluation. He believes it essential that we ensure our buildings deliver for their occupants - in practice not just in theory. Martin has led performance evaluation studies funded by InnovateUK (formerly the Technology Strategy Board) and by ERDF, of domestic new build and refurbishment, as well as non-domestic new build. Studies include ongoing assessment of the award-winning Wimbish Passivhaus development.
