Anglia Air Testing was set up in 2006 to provide air leakage testing for compliance with UK Building Regs part L. Since then we have added ventilation testing for part F and MHVR commissioning to our services. As a very experienced air leakage tester we have been referred by a number of Passivhaus assessors to carry out tests on their behalf and provide results and reports. We are registered members of the ATTMA Scheme (Air Tightness Testing & Measurement Association). Our tests are carried out in accordance with ATTMA (Air Tightness Testing and Measure Association) TS L1 standards and use Retrotec equipment calibrated to UKAS standard annually. We cover all of East Anglia and the South East.

Hempsec Ltd. is the research subsidiary of Greencore Construction. Hempsec is involved in a 3 year, EU funded research project with Bath University to commercialise high performance, low embodied carbon building panel systems using hemp, lime and timber. Our work involves designing, thermal modelling, carbon auditing and post occupancy evaluation of buildings constructed by Greencore. We have two Passiv Haus trained members of the team (Ian Pritchett and Gabriela Lavatelli). We are also involved in developing our own design guide, services strategy and performance standards to combine the PH standard with the 2016 zero-carbon standard AND low embodied carbon using natural materials.
