UK Passivhaus Awards 2012 launched at Ecobuild
Chris Herring, Chair of the Passivhaus Trust launched the Passivhaus Awards tonight at Ecobuild. The UK Passivhaus Awards have been launched by the Trust to celebrate the achievements of the UK Passivhaus Pioneers and to demonstrate that Passivhaus design can create beautiful buildings.
The awards were launched at a drinks reception hosted by Advantage Austria, founder members of the Trust and held at the 'Passivhaus Kaffeehaus', a full scale Passivhaus constructed by Advantage Austria- a very appropriate venue for the launch.
The launch was attended by Passivhaus Trust members and other invited guests and was very well received. Passivhaus founder Prof Wolfgang Feist, also present congratulated the Trust on the launch of awards and hoped to see the winning projects presented at the next International Passivhaus Conference.
