On-demand course in partnership with RIBA
This online course, jointly organised by the Passivhaus Trust & RIBA, will offer an introduction to the benefits of Passivhaus retrofit and discuss how to communicate with clients.
Passivhaus retrofit focuses on the renovation of buildings to help them reach their full energy-efficiency potential and Passivhaus standards of comfort and health. The EnerPHit standard (Passivhaus retrofit) was introduced to bring existing buildings up to date and to meet the world leading Passivhaus standards.
Delve into the retrofit processes and various toolkits which are available, and discuss the differences between Passivhaus and Energiesprong retrofit. We’ll cover the EnerPHit standard and look at what we’ve learned through the lived experience of a Passivhaus architect and finally, we will present case studies with technical data from a range of project shapes and sizes.
Who should attend?
- Certified Passivhaus Designers & those undergoing certification
- Architects with an interest in Passivhaus design and Passivhaus retrofit
