This course of low energy building design with excellent knowledge of the core concepts behind the Passivhaus standard, considerations and methodologies for implementation and using the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP10) for achieving low energy performance.
There are six modules for a total of 50 hours are aimed at all building professionals, including architects, engineers, sustainability consultants, contractors and builders.
You need to have some basic knowledge of building physics and be able to use Microsoft® Excel.

There are six modules, beginning with an online introduction and five days in-person in Manchester.

- 25 September 2023: Building envelope
- 26 September 2023: Building services
- 27 September 2023: Construction systems and quality assurance
- 28 September 2023: Retrofit and basics of economics
- 29 September 2023: PHPP 10 and Certification
- 16 October 2023: Optional Certified Passive House Designer exam
