In this webinar, Robert Prewett will present some POE data of 3 retrofitted houses: One from 2010 with 13 years of annual energy data, his own step-by-step project and a recently completed mews house that won a RIBA award in 2022.
About the Speaker
Bob has been working in the world of retrofit for almost 20 years. He is a qualified Passivhaus designer and is a founding member of the Passivhaus Trust. In 2019 he completed the RIBA conservation course and acts as an expert for the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance panel and for the AECB. His experience covers a variety of scales and building types and many projects are in Conservation areas or are Listed buildings.
He coined the term ‘Retrofit Coordinator’ in 2010 having taken part in the Retrofit for the Future Programme sponsored by DECC. This ‘coordinator’ role now underpins the delivery of better retrofit under the British Standard (PAS 2035) that Robert has advised BSi on.
Currently, he is contributing to an Innovate UK-funded project to review a series of retrofit case studies 10 years after their delivery and he has recently been invited by the RIBA to co-author a domestic retrofit guide to be published in 2024.
