RIBA Net Zero Carbon Course

The RIBA Net Zero Carbon webinar course 2024 is a comprehensive programme designed to equip architects with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve net zero carbon buildings and effectively contribute to sustainability goals. This course provides in-depth insights into key aspects of the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard and its practical implementation.

Module 3 Operational Energy - Wednesday 27 November

Sarah Lewis, Passivhaus Trust Research and Policy Director will discuss the importance of managing operational energy, even when using green or renewable sources. The session will examine the UK NZCB Standard's treatment of operational energy including hard limits, fossil fuel-free requirements, renewable energy targets, and demand management reporting, complemented by a case study on the Keynsham Civic Centre.
