For any queries, please contact CWIC

Wales has around 1.4 million residential and up to 100,000 non-residential buildings which need to be retrofitted between now and 2050 to reduce their emissions over the next 26 years.

How can we rapidly upskill the construction industry to deliver high-quality retrofit? This precursor course founded on the Passivhaus pillars, supports the need for growth in the retrofit supply chain. Our partnership with Construction Wales Innovation Centre (CWIC) is enabling us to deliver the course in Wales for the first time and will take a fabric first approach to retrofit.

The Enhanced Retrofit Fabric Improvement Training (ERFIT) Programme aims to deliver trained practitioners with the technical knowledge and expert skills to install, advise and troubleshoot existing and new retrofit projects.
