There has been much debate about the cost uplift of sustainable buildings, but do they really cost more? What is the trade off between capital costs and running costs? Join the Centre for the Built Environment for a half day seminar to understand what are the true costs of sustainable buildings.
Chris Parsons of Parsons + Whittley architects will present on the Wimbish (Essex) and Ditchingham (Norfolk) Passivhaus projects, focusing on build costs and building performance.
David Churcher of BSRIA will provide an overview on whole life costs (capital and operational costs). He will also present case studies with a particular focus on the NRP Enterprise Centre.
