Imagine living in a house that had no heating bills. Now imagine that you could build that house for just £45K!
PHT member Paul Testa is an Architect and a university teacher based in Sheffield and through his own practice, Paul helps clients to realise beautiful, comfortable and sustainable places to live and work.
Paul’s design for The Burrows was the first Passivhaus to achieve planning in South Yorkshire and his shortlisted entry for the Self Build on a Shoe String competition, 2013, proposed a compact Passivhaus home for less than £45K.
The first of many talks from local designers and creators who are thinking harder than most about effective, efficient and elegant ways to introduce environmentally and ethically sound ideas into their work and practice.
