The Trust will be holding a ‘technical afternoon' on 15 October 2014, before the UK Passivhaus Conference in Stevenage. This is a chance for PHT members and practitioners involved in the more technical aspects of the Passivhaus Standard to delve into Passivhaus issues in more depth.
Programme:
There will be 6 one-hour workshops on the day, running as three parallel workshops in two sessions.
14.00 Introduction from Jessica Grove-Smith, PHI – update on activities by the Institute
14.30 Session 1 – parallel workshops on MVHR, Heat Supply & Small Properties
15.30 Coffee Break
16.00 Session 2 – parallel workshops on The business case for large-scale retrofit, Quality Assurance on site and Overheating and measured data on occupancy and thermal comfort
17.00 Wrap up/ summary
17.30 Final discussion - what does Passivhaus Principles mean?
