What are the advantages of natural (bio-renewable) materials in the built environment?  What are their sustainable and performance qualities?  How do you source, implement and maintain these materials?

Using The Enterprise Centre, which has been built to Passivhaus Standard, this half day seminar will provide an overview of CLT, local timber, hemp, straw, thatch, and other materials.

  • Latest overview of The Enterprise Centre
  • Availability and application of natural materials including retrofit
  • Case Studies of buildings using natural materials
  • Technical specifications
  • Embodied carbon calculation methodologies and standards

This event will be CPD accredited. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This seminar is equivalent to 4.5 of the 12 hours of free business support and is valued at approximately £370 of ERDF funded assistance.
