New Carrstone House has been designed to meet the clients desire for a highly environmentally sustainable life. It aspires to achieving full Passivhaus certification, potentially zero carbon and Passivhaus Premium. Nestled in the rear garden of the existing property and predominantly single story the house is designed to have a full roof of PV, enough to power the house and an electric car. The project is currently under consideration by the planning office and ground has yet to be broken, therefore the design team are running a presentation to showcase the project.
Running in conjunction with the UK Passivhaus Open Days, Eco Design Consultants will be discussing New Carrstone House, along with other Passivhaus and EnerPHit projects, and explaining the new Passivhaus Plus, and Passivhaus Premium categories.
