Beattie Passive’s innovative, highly insulated TCosy™ system is being used to transform two semi-detached houses owned by Birmingham City Council. Using the Passivhaus comfort and energy efficiency principles, the TCosy™ system delivers dramatic cost, time saving, health and environmental benefits to its residents. The system wraps a highly insulated frame around existing buildings (tcosying the existing property). It provides a fast and highly replicable deep retrofit solution for a wide range of buildings.
The visit will provide an overview of the Beattie Passive Retrofit system and the opportunity to see and feel the structure of a Passivhaus retrofitted home.
