We hope you can join us for our annual New Year Debate & Celebration. The subject of this year’s debate will be one of the hot topics in the construction industry - health and well-being.
We often think that buildings built to Passivhaus standards are healthy because of their excellent thermal comfort and constant fresh air supply. However, as we heard at the recent UK Passivhaus Conference during the ‘Passivhaus futures’ sessions, there can be many other factors that contribute towards a healthy building.
Are the Passivhaus performance criteria the key components of a healthy building? Are they enough on their own or do more factors need to be addressed such as material toxicity, daylighting and access to greenery?
Come along, join the debate and share your views!
