Around the Houses is a new cycling sportive set within the Campsie Fells north of Glasgow, in support of the Architects Benevolent Society and Shelter Scotland, taking place on Sunday 5th August 2018.
PHT member, Paper Igloo's Ostro Passivhaus in Kippen features, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn about this exemplar low-energy home whilst enjoying a hot brew and some home baking.
The event will follow a testing 60km route through the Campsies. Around The Houses is set within some of the finest cycling roads in Scotland taking in the famous Crow Road climb and passing architect designed homes by Studio Kap, Dualchas, and Nord Architecture as well as Paper Igloo's Ostro Passivhaus.
Around The Houses is supporting the Architects Benevolent Society and Shelter Scotland with the proceeds of the entry fee and sponsorship raised being split evenly between both charities.
