Proposed render of Harris Academy, Sutton Secondary School ©Northgraf / Architype
An opportunity to visit the Harris Academy in Sutton, designed by PHT Patron Architype. The scheme is currently under construction and aiming to become the UK’s largest CLT Passivhaus secondary school. Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is now an established building material within the UK construction industry mainly because of its speed of construction and the high quality finish it achieves. Despite this, the construction process is still a relative unknown process to many in the building industry. This site visit is organised by Croydon Constructing Excellence Club together with KLH.
Timings and PPE
- Visitors without CSCS cards will need to attend a site induction at 8.30am.
- Visitors need to bring full PPE, site hat, site boots and hi-vis.
Booking
This event is free to attend, but booking is essential.
Reserve your place by emailing bola.ogunmefun@lyonsoneill.co.uk.
