Passivhaus will be featured at the October networking and information sharing meeting of the Zero Carbon Yorkshire BUILDINGS / AECB Yorkshire group. As well as discussing forthcoming activities and actions for the group, the following speakers will be giving a 10 minute overview of a range of topics surrounding Passivhaus:
- Dr Claude Saint-Arroman, Architecture Lecturer, will be talking about the findings of her PHD, sharing ‘examples of architectural typologies that are more flexible than Passivhaus and, arguably, more efficient’
- Phil Bixby, Architect, Constructive Individuals 'Overview of 3 Passivhaus newbuild projects in York'
- Richard Spencer, LEDA 'Building Physics & construction at the Roundhay Passivhaus'
- Eric Parks, Buckrose Ecological Architects 'Trans-Pennine Passivhaus Design: Experience and Lessons Learned?'
