Summary
For over 10 years the Passivhaus Standards have been adopted for many building types – both new build and renovations – and interest is increasing worldwide. The supply chain has matured and a wide range of Passivhaus Standard products are available.
Delivered by the University of Strathclyde Energy Systems Research Unit, the BRE Centre of Excellence in Energy Utilisation in partnership with the BRE Academy, the qualification will provide you with all the skills necessary to successfully design and deliver buildings to the Passivhaus Standard.
You will be required to undertake self-study of several online modules (video material plus exercises – approx. 15 hours) prior to attending the one week’s intensive classroom training.
Please note: As part of this training course you are required to purchase the PHPP 9 2015 software. This can be purchased from aecb.net at a cost of £140 + VAT for non-members and is required for the online modules.
