For this year's Heritage Open Days, the UK's first EnerPHit Plus retrofit will again open its doors to visitors.
PHT Member Ecospheric is hosting an opportunity to visit Zetland Road. The tours will allow visitors to discover the key techniques and materials involved, and the challenges presented, in achieving EnerPHit Plus in a Victorian home. In this project Ecospheric have shown how it is possible to maintain the historical integrity of a building whilst updating it to the EnerPHit Plus standard, one of the highest comfort and efficiency building standards in the world.

Details
This is a self-guided tour. Upon entry, you will be given a brochure about the Zetland Passive House and you may freely explore the house at your own pace. Members of the Ecospheric team will be on-hand to answer questions. Refreshments will be served.
Access: There are stairs to enter the house as well as 3 flights of stairs within the house. Hallways and stairs may be crowded at times. Visitors with restricted mobility may find this property difficult to traverse.
Facilities: There are toilets onsite.
Visitors with young children: There will be a small corner with children's activities (colouring, books, and toys etc) for visitors with young children. Children are the responsibility of their adults. Please do not leave children unsupervised as our staff cannot be responsible for their safety.
