GHA 2019 Conference: Delivering Net Zero and Future Homes
Date: 19 November 2019 | Time: 9:30 - 17:30 |
Location: Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, Lambeth, London | Cost: £50-£170 |
The Good Homes Alliance conference this year focuses on how to achieve net zero targets in home building and deliver high quality, low carbon, healthy homes which are fit for the future. Passivhaus Trust research and Passivhaus case studies will feature in the programme.
The Trust’s research paper Passivhaus: the route to zero carbon? has clearly identified that Passivhaus must play a crucial role to meeting national net zero carbon targets. It is no surprise that Passivhaus speakers are invited on so many discussion panels to debate future building Standards. John Palmer, PHT’s Research & Policy Director, will draw upon findings from the aforementioned paper, PHT Board member Lynne Sullivan explores the Standard within the wider political context for the construction industry, and PHT member Norwich City Council divulge the details of how they've delivered several highly successful multi-unit Passivhaus developments.
