Glasgow Institute of Architects CPD Series: Sustainability

Event 3 in Glasgow Institute of Architects' CPD Series focuses on sustainability, and will feature the presentation Mind the Gap: Passivhaus and performance by Matt Bridgestock, Director at PHT member John Gilbert Architects, looking at how JGA use evidence based design to develop low energy buildings and retrofits.

Presentations will also be given by Chris Stewart, Director at PHT member collective architecture and Director of SEDA (Scottish Ecological Design Association) on the RIAS Sustainability Working Group, and by James Robb of WSP on reducing embodied and whole life carbon in buildings. 

 

Event details

The event starts at 18:00 in the Billiards Room of the Mackintosh at the Willow in Sauchiehall Street. Teas and coffee will served from 17:30, giving an opportunity to meet other attendees.

Tickets are £20 at full price, or £15 for RIAS / GIA members. Tickets can be booked online.
