Oak Tree Passivhaus is the most northerly timber frame certified Passivhaus in England and the first on Tyneside. Completed in 2019, the private dwelling was delivered and built by MawsonKerr and Shawm, developing around a protected oak tree and taking advantage of a steeply-sloping site.
This tour will be conducted by representatives from MawsonKerr and has been organised by the Young Architectural Practitioners' Forum.
