The 1930s semi-detached Oxford home is an exemplar of high-performance building. Among one of the first deep retrofit projects certified to EnerPHit Plus standard in the UK, the project generates more energy than it consumes, thanks to a renewable energy strategy and battery storage complementing the fabric-frst approach.
Hear useful lessons from the project to help others who are considering retrofit themselves, from both the perspective of the client and the Architect PHT member Eco Design Consultants. The webinar will showcase key successful features of the design including the concrete-free flood-resistant ground floor, innovative airtightness and thermal bridging strategies, as well as the carbon balance.
