Join the Stirling Society of Architects (SSA) and PHT member Paper Igloo, for a free online CPD, offering an introduction to the Passivhaus Standard, followed by a spotlight on case study Ostro Passivhaus. This CPD is suited to those interested in the Passivhaus standard, self-builders and built-environment professionals.
Completed in the summer of 2020, Ostro Passivhaus is set near Stirling in the historical conservation village of Kippen. The contemporary design offers maximum comfort and energy-efficiency. It not only achieves Passivhaus certification, but also the Scottish Technical Standards Section 7: Sustainability Gold Level requirements.
The CPD will share details on the construction method and post-occupancy monitoring of Ostro Passivhaus, as well as how achieving Passivhaus certification has facilitated an optimum indoor living environment for occupants.
