RIBA Passivhaus: Climate Challenge 2030

Hosted by Passivhaus Trust Research and Policy Director, Sarah Lewis, discover how the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge can be achieved through aligning Passivhaus with the RIBA plan of work.

The RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge is an industry-wide climate pledge comprising of a number of targets for architectural practices to reduce operational energy, embodied carbon and potable water in the design and build of both new and retrofit projects. As a robust route to net-zero, a Passivhaus Overlay has been developed for the RIBA Plan of Work guiding Passivhaus projects to fulfill this pledge.

Learn more from PHT member MawsonKerr about the pioneering Passivhaus case study, Oaktree House, in which the total embodied carbon is lower than the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge target, and don't miss the all-important launch of the new Passivhaus Overlay, presented by architect Mark Siddall, from PHT member LEAP.
