Minister welcomes Passivhaus conference in Belfast

Northern Ireland's Minister of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs, Andrew Muir, officially launched and welcomed the first jointly organised UK & Ireland Passivhaus Conference in Belfast.

Weavers’ Hall student accommodation

Weavers’ Hall, Queen’s University Belfast’s first Passivhaus‐certified student living tower, is setting the bar for low-carbon student-centred design. Join us on 7th October as this landmark project becomes the centrepiece of our upcoming Passivhaus Masterclass, unpacking every detail from design through delivery.

Costs and specifications: We’re updating our report on the cost of Passivhaus with Currie & Brown and members. We are seeking real project data (especially costs and specs) to make it robust. Please email info@passivhaustrust.org.uk by 10 October. Any format welcome.
Health in Buildings: Academic research programmes are studying real-world performance in homes & schools. We're working to connect researchers with Passivhaus projects. Apply now.

Welsh Passivhaus in action

Architects, suppliers, developers and clients joined the third meeting of the new Passivhaus Trust & AECB Mid and North Wales Local Group for a site visit to Y Wern near Welshpool.
