Hawkes Architecture granted planning for another Passivhaus home in rural Kent
.jpg)
Located on Vesper Hawk Farmstead in the rural village of Smarden in Kent, Hawkes Architecture has been granted planning permission for a detached home aiming for Passivhaus. As well as having all the usual "passive house" trimmings and levels of performance the proposals include various enhancements to the landscape and energy consumption profile of the entire farmstead setting.

Integral to this proposal are the flood mitigation measures, a sustainable drainage strategy and biodiversity enhancements.
