Build Net Zero NOW
Date: 22 February 2022 | Time: 10:00 - 11:30 |
Location: Online | Cost: Free to attend, booking essential |
Join Good Homes Alliance (GHA) and Advantage Austria for a morning discussion with leading UK and Austrian low-carbon practitioners, all about why we must take action now to meet net-zero targets, and how this can be achieved.
Don't miss Emma Osmundsen, Passivhaus Trust Board Member and Managing Director at PHT Patron Exeter City Council, as they present how delivering Passivhaus is a robust route to net-zero in the UK across different building types. Exeter City Council has implemented Passivhaus for over a decade, starting with domestic projects and evolving into pioneering non-domestic schemes. The most noteworthy to date being the recently completed St. Sidwell's Point Leisure Centre aiming for Passivhaus certification- the first of it's kind in the UK. We also hear about the first Austrian Passivhaus Plus student accommodation, setting the precedent for educational buildings across Austria.
Don't forget to submit your questions before the event or bring your questions along with you to put to the expert panel.
