Prior to our much anticipated UK Passivhaus Conference 2024, join the day before as we head to the University of Oxford + online for an exclusive detailed case study Passivhaus Masterclass on the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.

The scale of the project is truly unprecedented, bringing together several faculties. It features a 500-seat concert hall, a 250-seat theatre and a 100-seat ‘black box’ lab for experimental performance, a schools and public engagement centre, a new library, a café and other meeting spaces.

Site tours of the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities

 

After an afternoon of presentations, experience Passivhaus in action. Step inside the world-class facility targeting Passivhaus. There are two tours on offer which are exclusively available to those who have booked an in-person ticket to the Masterclass. Booking is essential.

Site visit attendees will earn 2 extra PHI credit points.

How to book

Once a ticket is purchased, in-person attendees of the masterclass will be emailed and invited to book site visit tickets for £20 + VAT. As this is a live working site, spaces are extremely limited on the technical tour. Early booking is advised.

Detailed Technical Tour 

Get inside a live construction site. Explore the intricate workings behind the scenes, including a rare visit to the plant room. Technical leads will conduct the in-depth guided tours, offering detailed insights to intimate groups.

Requires PPE: Delegates must bring their own 5-point PPE to access this tour. (Hard hat, eye protection, high-vis, gloves & steel toe capped boots.)

Site Tour

Gain access to behind the scenes on a live construction site. Large groups will experience the scale of this supersized Passivhaus project. Get your burning questions answered from technical leads as they point out construction details.  

No PPE required.

Networking dinner

Join us from 7pm onwards on Wednesday 18th September near the conference venue for a networking dinner. Attendees must pay for their own meals and drinks.
