CarbonLite Passivhaus Designer Course & Exam

AECB CarbonLite is offering a Passive House Designer programme specifically for the UK. The first courses will be running in September 2011 and delivered by UK professionals with Passivhaus experience.
The CarbonLite Designer course offers the following benefits:
- Courses are developed specifically for the UK, and use UK building examples.
- The programme is delivered using a mixture of lectures, group and individual learning, with take-away exercises to continually affirm and test understanding.
- The full programme can be taken as an intensive course or spread out as individual modules to suit your needs. The courses & exam will be delivered on a regular basis with small groups.
- Relevant courses previously completed under the CarbonLite scheme will contribute towards the qualification.
Prerequisties
This qualification is aimed at those with suitable building industry experience. The prerequisites are a qualification or experience in the building sector (e.g. architects, architectural technologists, energy consultants, engineers, builders or building professionals). *Thermal Bridging is not included in the Passivhaus Designer course, however we do recommend this is booked as a supplementary course.
**You will need to purchase the latest version of PHPP from the AECB.
