Understanding the Passivhaus Standard, Principles and Methodologies

This course is part of the AECB Carbonlite Passivhaus courses and is aimed at the design team who are new to low energy buildings and the use of the Passivhaus standard. It introduces the principles behind the Passivhaus standard and methodologies for a variety of building types and the use of the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) for achieving low energy performance. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the Passivhaus design and certification process and associated costs.
