Taking Passivhaus to the next level at Ecobuild 2016

The Trust has been closely involved with Ecobuild since it launched in 2010, and have had a strong presence at both the exhibition and conference. Our seminars have always enjoyed packed-out attendances, This year Ecobuild runs from 08-10 March at Excel London, with a host of Passivhaus activities scattered throughout the event, including a brand new Passivhaus Pavilion, and a series of Passivhaus seminars.

Recent political changes are making it a challenge to keep sustainability high on the agenda However, for those who want to go beyond the norm and build to higher standards, Passivhaus offers the best tried-and-tested route to achieve better energy efficiency and comfort"

Jon Bootland, CEO Passivhaus Trust

The Trust will also be launching the 2016 UK Passivhaus Awards, & the UK Passivhaus Conference during Ecobuild.

Passivhaus Trust Pavilion

For the first time in 2016 we will be having a Passivhaus Trust Pavilion within the exhibition, which will gather together some of our member companies, including suppliers of the high quality insulation, glazing, ventilation, fabric, services and whole systems that contribute to Passivhaus schemes, providing useful technical help and advice to everyone from self-builders to major housebuilders.

At the PHT member lounge within the Pavilion, you will be able to pick up free Passivhaus guidance to help start your project, and meet a number of Passivhaus experts within the Pavilion:
