INEX, in collaboration with OeAD, offers the second edition of this intensive training program in the field of sustainable building design and energy efficiency provided by 5 Austrian Universities, the Austrian Institute of Technology and the IG Passivhaus (Austria).
Austria is the pioneer in Passivhaus-Technology: 3.2 Mi m² of floor space out of 7 Mi m² in all ofe Europe is found here.This program offers an introduction and outlook of sustainable architecture as well as sustainable urban development and planning while presenting leading examples. You will receive an overview of green building rating systems and learn about ecological building materials and renewable resources in order to understand buildings over their life-cycle. With the integration of renewable energies into building concepts you will grasp the concept of the Passivhaus.
Program fees include public transportation tickets, meals and drinks at opening/closing ceremonies and lodging in low energy housing in Vienna for 3 weeks.
