New criteria for Passivhaus certification released
The Passivhaus Institue has released new criteria for Passivhaus certification. The Passivhaus Institut issues a checklist intended to make it easier for a building to achieve the Passivhaus Standard and potentially “Certified Passivhaus” status by outlining the most important steps in the process. It draws particular attention to the quality control that accompanies the construction of a Passive House. A work in progress, this list is not necessarily complete. The definitive criteria for the certification of Passivhaus components and buildings are set by the Passivhaus Institute under the direction of Dr. Wolfgang Feist. See the certifications section of this website for more information.
