We are hiring! Marketing & Events Coordinators

We are looking for exceptional communicators/marketers specialising in sustainable zero-carbon buildings to join our team! The role includes developing & delivering key messages, including the latest exemplary projects, across a variety of platforms, and organising enticing events.

 

Who we're looking for

We are looking for team-players with initiative and a passion for collaboration. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic person who has an interest in communication with a good understanding of zero carbon buildings. Experience of working in small teams would be beneficial.

As a minimum we require qualifications of a relevant degree, ideally with 2-3 years’ relevant work experience.

Essential Skills	Desirable
Architecture or construction industry background & knowledge in sustainable buildings. Experience of communications, marketing, or related activities. Experience of maintaining websites. Creating/editing images and/or video content. Keen attention to detail. Highly organised & capable of prioritising work Computer literate. Proficient in Photoshop and InDesign with strong design sensibilities.	Working knowledge or an understanding of Passivhaus. Experience of organising & delivering events. Consistently meet deadlines with a systematic approach.

The roles includes

We are seeking to fill two marketing & events vacancies with the opportunity to split time between both PHT & LETI:

• Full time position: 4-5 days/ week.
• Part time position: 1-3 days/ week

Passivhaus Trust

LETI

Organise & assist delivery of a varied events programme including trade shows, conferences, and digital delivery. Both online & in-person. Create & edit unique content for external communications on several platforms ranging from website articles, press releases, editorial, and newsletters.  Assist with creating graphics in Photoshop and InDesign. Maintaining PHT projects & contacts databases. Assist content management for several websites including: www.passivhaustrust.org.uk & www.ukphc.org.uk. Assist with communication, recruitment, and management of PHT members. Handle client enquiries – email/phone/’virtual’ face to face. Assist with social media presence and evolving digital strategy. Assisting promotion PHT campaigns, reports, events & training.

Internal communications within the LETI taskforce and working groups External communications with the LETI mailing list Organising LETI events and coordinating LETI speakers’ external events. Updating the LETI website Maintaining the LETI contact database Supporting social media platforms such as twitter and LinkedIn Overseeing the LETI admin email account and directing enquiries

Contract Details

The roles begin in October 2022. The jobs are hybrid working with weekly team meetings via zoom, and occasional in-person events.

There are two salary brackets:

• Junior Level: £22,500 - £27,000 FTE (possibly more for candidates with >2-3 years experience).
• Senior-Level: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE
