"We are extremely happy and proud to have won at the 2023 awards. There were so many excellent, sustainable projects shortlisted so to be recognised by the Passivhaus Trust means a great deal. We have both lived and worked from home for several years and can honestly say that the experience has surpassed our expectations. Ostro is extremely comfortable both in the depths of winter and the height of summer. ”

"Pioneering a step-by-step EnerPHit provides a model for scalable retrofit, with benefits to staging budget & capital input, as well as being able to continue living in a property whilst works are being carried out. Here we feature the crowned winners – but the ‘real winner’ across the shortlist was a showcase of buildings that perform – crushing the cost of living crisis without compromising comfort, health, & wellbeing. The shortlist prove we can apply Passivhaus to any typology and open data-driven design dialogues.
