PHT Director appointed to low carbon editorial board for Construction News

BRE’s Head of Passivhaus Kym Mead has been appointed to the new low carbon editorial board for Construction News

Kym along with the other newly appointed board members will provide guidance and insight into the issues and projects they think that Construction News should be covering in the fortnightly low carbon section of the magazine.

‘Although the construction sector is in a slow period at the moment, some of the active projects are really inspirational and are pushing the boundaries of our knowledge. At the same time there are an ever increasing range of issues and challenges that need to be addressed like how we reduce the construction and running costs whilst improving the performance and comfort levels of our buildings. These are the things that readers will be interested in and that I will be highlighting on the board’

The newly appointed board will meet at a roundtable discussion on low carbon issues in October which will be featured in the journal.

20th August 2012
