Prof Wolfgang Feist awarded RIBA Honorary Fellowship
Prof Wolfgang Feist has been awarded a RIBA Honorary Fellowship for his contribution to sustainable architecture through his work on Passivhaus.
The Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) Council approved 12 new RIBA Honorary Fellowships on 27th September 2012 to reward individuals from a diverse spectrum of backgrounds, including the worlds of education, sustainability, engineering, property development, journalism, politics and the wider built environment industry.
Honorary Fellowships are awarded by the RIBA Council each year to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the quality of architecture, the achievements of the profession and the aims and objectives of the RIBA. Any person who is not an architect may be nominated by RIBA members and elected as an Honorary Fellow.
The 2013 RIBA Honorary Fellowships will be awarded on Wednesday 6 February 2013. The lifetime honour allows recipients to use the initials Hon FRIBA after their name.
