Passivhaus Trust at Ecobuild 2013!

It’s that time of the year again – Ecobuild, the world’s biggest sustainable design and construction event, and we are very much a part of it. Let's hope once again Passivhaus will be among the hottest things being talked about at Ecobuild 2013.

Here is a round up of what we are upto this year...

Passivhaus Seminar Stream

This year the Trust has helped to organise the entire Passivhaus seminar stream, with more than 10 sessions involving over 40 speakers during the three days. The seminars will be delivered by industry experts and will include: Large scale case studies; Passivhaus and Part L; Masterclass tasters on overheating, MVHR and PHPP; and Passivhaus in different climatic zones among others.

Vist us at Stand N351

We will be exhibiting once again so do drop by to have a chat. On display at the stand will be our Passivhaus literature and the UK Passivhaus Awards exhibition.

Folowing on from previous years, we will be joined on our standby by some of our members who will share their knowledge and expertise on Passivhaus.

Why choose Passivhaus? - new publication

Over the past four months we have been compiling information and evidence from Passivhaus projects for our new publication 'Why choose Passivhaus?'. We are happy to announce that the new guide will be launched at our stand N351 at Ecobuild. Come along to pick up your copy!

UK Passivhaus Awards 2013- launch event | 5th March | 16:30

Now in its second year, the UK Passivhaus Awards celebrates the design and performance of Passivhaus in the UK. This year’s awards will be launched at the Austrian Pavillion Kaffeehaus(stand S420). This is a member and invited guests exclusive event sponsored by Advantage Austria.

This event (jointly hosted with Patron members Centre for the Built Environment) will focus on the launch of a report on the Belgian Passivhaus experience from The Centre for the Built Environment. Registration is essential and priority will be given to Passivhaus Trust members and SMEs. Please contact adapt.events@uea.ac.uk to book your place.
