Beattie Passive Training Academy
A practical Training Academy has been set up by PHT Standard Member Beattie Passive, to provide a class and workshop based knowledge of information on all aspects of building a Beattie Passive Build. It explains the principles of building to Passivhaus standard and explores the reasons why this is a popular form of building. You gain a hands-on understanding of the simplicity for the builder and the major benefits of building with it. The training will be held at the head office and workshop in Hethel, Norwich for contractors, architects and self builders.
PHT members are eligible for a 10% discount on all courses.
5 day course for experienced contractors to become an Accredited Beattie Passive Engineer
- To understand the fundamentals of Passivhaus construction
- To understand and be confident on the delivery of the Beattie Passive Build System and the benefits of building with it.
- To become the Accredited Beattie Passive Engineer to deliver the project and to be responsible for the completion of the on-site build logs
- Manufacture and assemble a two storey, 27m² detached house

1 day Architect/Consultants course
- To understand the benefits of using the Beattie Passive Build System
- To understand the fundamentals of Passivhaus construction
- To manufacture a Beattie Passive component
- View and explore a two storey, 27m² semi-detached structural frame of a house
