Buildings & Energy Efficiency Awards
Missed the deadline to enter the UK Passivhaus Awards 2015? Here is another competition that may take your fancy: The Buildings & Energy Efficiency (B&EE) Awards will reward outstanding projects and innovative products that are promoting excellence in buildings across the UK.
The Awards will showcase innovation, celebrate best practice and recognise expertise in energy usage and the ways it contributes to an attractive, energy efficient and sustainable built environment. Sounds like an easy win for a number of UK Passivhaus projects!
Categories
There are a number of categories in the B&EE Awards, for both new and refurbished buildings, domestic and non-domestic, private or public sector. There are also awards for innovative products, behavioural change initiatives and breakthrough projects.

- Liz Reason, Managing Director, Green Gauge Trust
- Rob Pannell, Managing Director, Zero Carbon Hub
- Dr Will Swan, Senior Lecturer, Salford University
- David Kemp, Sustainability Manager, Procure Plus
The Awards will be presented on Tuesday 10 November 2015 at the Grand Hall in the Palace Hotel - Manchester.
How to Enter
Fill in the online application form found under each category, and remember to let them know:
1. Why it is special and if you are doing something that is common to the industry or are you doing something that is new!?
2. Does it have real benefit? You needn’t submit all your data, but highlight if you have changed or achieved something, and the best way to show this is through some measurable information.
3. Is it honest? Tell real stories which give an honest picture showcasing all of the issues that you have had to overcome to deliver.
