Seminar review: Delivering large and complex Passivhaus buildings

We would like to thank all the speakers who participated at our recent seminar, hosted by the University of Strathclyde, with support from CIBSE Scotland and SEDA. The event was well attended with over 40 delegates, and had a focus on large scale and complex projects from across UK and Europe.

The Passivhaus standard is increasingly being successfully adopted in a range of significant larger scale UK projects, both housing and non-domestic. This event aimed to provide learning and feedback from architects and consultants who have had significant experience of working on larger scale projects, such as Pete Warm and Bram de Bruyker.

The event also highlighted some of the exciting projects that are under development or nearing completion, such as the recently completed Hereford Archive CentreThe Centre for Medicine at The University of Leicester and an EnerPHit retrofit project of three high rise residential towers, currently being designed by Collective Architecture.
