Wolfgang Feist to speak at Passivhaus seminar at Ecobuild 2012

Panel discussion including Dr Wolfgang Feist on 'Passivhaus as the advanced energy efficiency standard in the UK'

Ecobuild 2012 organisers have confirmed that Passivhaus founder Dr Wolfgang Feist will join a panel discussion as part of  the 'Designing & building with Passivhaus Principles' seminar stream. The session titled 'Passivhaus as the advanced energy efficiency standard in the UK' will take place on Thursday 22nd March at Excel, London. Dr Wolfgang Feist of the Passivhaus Institut will propose that the UK officially adopts Passivhaus as the exemplar advanced fabric energy efficiency standard. issues he will cover include- Why should the UK take up Passivhaus?  Can Passivhaus be used within the code, building regulations and BREEAM?  Can the UK adopt Passivhaus as the advanced UK standard, and what would make this possible?

Other speakers joining Dr Feist on the panel include Chris Herring (Passivhaus Trust), Neil Jefferson (Zero Carbon Hub) and David Strong (David Strong Consulting)
