Requirements for facade integrated ventilation systems in a Passivhaus

The Passivhaus Institute (PHI) recently released requirements for single room ventilation criteria.

The certification criteria applies to ventilation devices for single rooms (in residential buildings) without duct connections. In order to keep the overall ventilation heat loss similar to centralised residential units, that provide a double-use of the airflow, a demand control strategy is highly recommended for single room ventilation devices.
