Sneak a peek at what to expect from the imminent UK Passivhaus Conference

The conference programme is beginning to take shape. Here are a few highlights featured at the most anticipated UK Passivhaus event of the year!

International lessons from adopting Passivhaus at a regional scale.

The city of Frankfurt has developed a masterplan to reduce carbon emissions by 95% by the year 2050 utilising the Passivhaus Standard and renewables as a key driver. Our keynote international speaker, Axel Bretzke is currently Professor at the Biberach University of Applied Science and was previously the Deputy Head of Energy Management in Frankfurt, where he led the development of the Regulations for Economic Construction in Frankfurt. Axel will discuss the application of Passivhaus in the region via targeted policies, such as the city council building all municipal property to the Standard, and support scheme like the ‘Frankfurt Passivhaus Loan’.
