I MEETING HOUSE LANE

Overcoming a 3 year long planning process, a tight garage infill site digs down into a bespoke semi-sunk Passivhaus home, in a dense urban area.

A zinc clad two-story Passivhaus home located in a Conservation Area in East London was erected in a few days from pre-fabricated structural Cross Laminated Timber panels.

The textured L-shaped brick house fits in between a conservation area of mixed aged vernacular buildings, tackling overlooking & privacy issues with a low energy - low tech solution.

LIME TREE PASSIVHAUS

TIGH NA CROIT

 THE OLD WATER TOWER

Evolving into a Passivhaus during the planning process, this scheme combines light and contemporary open plan aesthetics with technical advancements in cavity wall Passivhaus construction detailing.

A low energy building for a comfortable future. In a small garden plot, the presence of a protected lime tree drove the eventual arc-shaped plan of the building with a mono pitch roof.

Set in the Scottish Highlands, the high quality, low energy home nestles quietly into an area of former crofting land. Inspired by highland and rural design whilst achieving Passivhaus.

A contemporary interpretation of surrounding historic buildings that demonstrates the viability of building Passivhaus homes as a commercial proposition to sustainable living.

Further information on all projects will be available in our projects gallery soon.
