Hayman House Certified
A recently certified Passivhaus new build in Gresford, North Wales provides its occupants a comfortable retirement home. The detached project with a TFA of 187m2 is built from solid concrete block and external wall insulation (EWI) and took just over a year to complete in August 2016.
This was the first Passivhaus project for EcoVert, however, the principles had previously been applied to several other projects. The use of Warmcel to insulate the roof, made that element of the project particularly quick and straightforward.
