Win free exhibition wall space in the Passivhaus Projects Gallery

Would you like to have your Passivhaus project showcased in front of potential clients and collaborators at the UK Passivhaus Conference? Enter now to win one of ten free wall spaces in the Passivhaus Projects Gallery located in the exhibition hall.

A large 10m long wall will exhibit a Passivhaus project gallery. As well as showcasing your certified scheme, we are offering the chance for Passivhaus designers or consultants to network with Conference delegates, along with Passivhaus curious guests invited to the conference exhibition in the afternoon.

This opportunity is only open to complete and certified Passivhaus projects. They can be of any scale, location or typology, although, we are particularly looking for projects that will appeal to social housing providers, local government or self-builders. International Passivhaus schemes are also invited to enter. The PHT team will pick up to 10 projects to be displayed based on the following criteria:

  • Aesthetics – eye catching images are a must.
  • Shortlisted finalist for any previous UK Passivhaus Awards or
  • Brand new – certified schemes which may not have entered the awards due to little or no performance data.


How to apply

All you should do is email a stunning PDF poster of your certified Passivhaus scheme, and it may be featured in our Passivhaus project gallery. There is no cost to enter your pdf poster. Please include Subject: Passivhaus Project Gallery High resolution, large file sizes are expected, so please use dropbox links or wetransfer to share files.

A0 posters must contain the following to be considered:

  • Be image focused. No blocks of text please!
  • Contain a maximum of 5 images. (Your image may be located high up on a wall and therefore small images may be missed or hard to read.)
  • Posters must be of portrait orientation.
  • Include project name as poster title.
  • List the key team involved with the certified scheme.


Submission Deadline: 11th September 2017

Posters submit after this date will not be considered. Successful schemes will be notified shortly after the submission deadline. A template is provided and can can be downloaded below in various formats. Your final PDF poster should be saved in CMYK, include a 3mm bleed and no crop marks. Poster Guidelines

  • Images must be of a high resolution 300dpi. Images of low resolution will be blurry at A0 scale.

  • Please include a 3mm bleed.

  • A0 dimenstions with bleed = 119.5 x 84.7 cm [or 14114 pixels x 10004 pixels at 300dpi] 

  • A0 dimensions without bleed  = 118.9cm x 84.1cm [or 14043 pixels x 9933 pixels at 300dpi] 

  • Please do not include crop marks on the final poster.

  • Please use CMYK.

  • Image layout in the provided template is indicative of using 1 image. Submissions may include a maximum of 5 images in alternative layouts, but title (including bar) & key team must remain in position.

  • Please remember to update image credit. Credit can be changed to any monochrome colour to ensure it is readable against the updated project image.

The competition is free enter, however shortlisted schemes will be asked to pay £25 to cover printing costs. 


Terms and conditions


  • Entering or winning the competition does not gain you access to the event. A conference ticket must be purchased.
  • Only wall space is provided in the exhibition hall. The competition does not include exhibition stand space, nor allow for promotion of company marketing materials.  Exhibition stands can be purchased while spaces are available here.
  • The project must be a complete & certified Passivhaus/EnerPHit project.
  • 1 certified Passivhaus project per poster.
  • More than 1 project may be submitted, provided they are on seperate posters.
  • A0 poster must only include image(s), project name & key team – template provided.
  • £25 printing fee will apply if your scheme is displayed. An invoice will be sent shortly after confirmation of winners.
